Central Bank of Nigeria Blames Nigerians For The Sudden Removal of E-Naira App From Google Store.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has finally reveal the reason following the removal of e-naira speed wallet from Google play store.

Speaking on why the app was removed, CBN Director of Corporate Communications of the bank, Osita Nwanisobi, said the app was removed  due to imperfect on significant upgrade.
He blamed Nigerians for the sudden removal , explaining that many people failed to enter their details correctly, which occur to the rises of problem in the app.
Report made that eNaira speed wallet was taken down from the Google Play Store, 48 hours after the digital currency was revealed it on Monday.
Amidst the backlash generated by the development, the CBN directives has now explained that the Removal is temporary and the app will be back once important updates are completed.
He gave the explanation on Thursday in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital during the CBN Fair for the southeast geo-political zone.
On the expected time frame for the app to be back online, Nwanisobi said it shouldn’t take more than a few days.
